Do you want to move better, feel better and look better?

I turned to Pilates after a shoulder injury made it difficult for me to do other forms of exercise, and whilst I’m not back to where I want to be, Pilates has without a doubt helped me to move in the right direction in regaining my strength and movement.

I am a Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor. I trained in Classical Mat Pilates (the original 34 exercises) designed by Joseph Pilates, but the classes I teach are a more contemporary or modern style of Pilates. Our bodies have changed significantly in the last century due to our lifestyles, and modern movement science has increased vastly since then. I like to use modern small equipment such as a Pilates balls, resistance bands etc. These are amazing at providing some support when we need it to make an exercise easier, or to make the muscles have to work harder. The small equipment is always popular in classes as it makes things a bit more interesting!

I have a few spaces on my sessions on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s or Thursday’s 6:15 - 7:15pm at saint Benedict school - contact me to join

NEW beginners daytime course

I’m launching a new beginners class on THURSDAY’s 10:00 - 11:00am at St John’s Methodist Church, Park Farm, Allestree, Derby from Thursday 16th April 2026.

This will be a 13 week course. The first week is FREE, and then should you choose to continue, it will cost £120 for the remainder of the course. The venue is only available during term time, so there will be no class on 28th May due to half term, and no class on 18th June as I am on holiday.

How does the block system work?

The way I operate my Pilates classes is in “terms” or blocks of sessions usually of around 10 weeks. This works well for everyone - it works well for you as it motivates you to keep up with your practice, and it works for me as it involves less admin. Blocks of classes are paid for upfront (and cost £10 per class - so 10 weeks would be £100), and this secures your space in the class for that 10 week time period.

I offer a FREE first class, so you can see if it is for you before committing to the rest of the block of classes.

If you are unable to make it one week, you can swap to another evening, or do an extra class another week to catch up the one you missed.
