SOUND BATHS

Sound healing is a powerful tool that has been used for thousands of years by ancient cultures to help with physical, emotional and energetic issues.

It can aid with improving mood, boosting energy levels, reducing physical pain and lowering blood pressure. My specific interest is in how it can help reduce stress and anxiety. I offer sound healing in regular monthly group sessions, and also as part of longer events sometimes pairing with Yoga and other forms of meditation such as Yoga Nidra.

Sound can be used as a deeply relaxing meditative technique and is a great alternative for those who find other meditation techniques challenging or inaccessible. The vibrations produced during a session can alter the brain wave state, dropping participants more easily into the space that we are trying to reach during meditation. They say a sound bath takes you to where 20 years of meditation would!

I work with crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums and a number of other instruments.
